Modernity is a global condition of an ongoing socio-cultural, economic, and political transformation human experience, with tradition or religion having no significant role to play. It the gradual decline in modernity through implementation principles secularism which has, according Islamic revivalists, plunged world into crisis jahiliyya (unGodliness). Revivalists sociologists such as Anthony Giddens (1991) call it “crisis modernity”. In response, many revivalist movements have emerged address this condition.
